History of PHM Health
PHM Health was created in 2013. At the time it was known as Purple Hive Media and was a combined IT and community welfare focused organisation based in a town called Narrandera (near Wagga Wagga). In 2017, the director decided he wanted to change the focus of his organisation so that it could give back to the community by pursuing a passion for providing care and assistance for aged and disabled people. Shortly after making this decision, the organisation was engaged to deliver service to a single participant under an unregistered National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) service provider arrangement. That participant is still with us to this day. In December 2018, Purple Hive Media – Health Division became a registered NDIS provider.
This took a lot of hard work!
In early 2019, the organisation began expanding rapidly. New positions were created as a result, such as a Support Worker Coordinator, Team Leader, Recruitment Manager, and an Administration Manager. After a lot of consultation with employees and participants, the organisation was renamed PHM Health in May 2019.
Our biggest milestone to date was reached in August 2019 when we moved out of director’s house and into our office in Belfield.
We may be a young organisation but have already established an excellent reputation within the NDIS industry largely due to the hard work and commitment of our incredible staff.
